How does ultrasonic cleaning work? The thing being cleaned is immersed in an ultrasonic tank full of water and a small quantity of cleaning agent and then agitated with high-frequency noise for a short moment. The underlying process is the introduction of microscopic bubbles in the liquid. Agitation causes these bubbles to fall with wonderful force.
